• techniques for playing the different sounds on a djembe
• basic patterns on the bass drums and bells
• different djembe accompaniment patterns, and simple solo patterns
• introduction to poly-rhythms, and dynamics (tempo and loudness)
• development of rhythmical feeling and confidence
