These doundouns (bass drums) from Ghana were directly ordered in Accra. We are fully involved in the whole process, meaning we have been able to specify the dimensions working of the wood to our requirements. This is very important to the sound quality of the instrument, and separates our instruments from the typical „tourist“ drums often found outside of Guinea or Mali. We produce these doundouns to achieve the best possible result from the materials available in Ghana.
